What is the Trailblazer Club?
The Trailblazer Club is our largest parent fundraiser- funds collected support school-wide resources, teacher supplies, and programs & events.  Joining the Trailblazer Club includes one VA PTA membership!  

Who can Join?

Anyone!  We encourage families to share Trailblazer Club details with family members & friends

What are my options?

       Opt Out Membership: Offered for families who wish to contribute a one time donation for

                                             fundraising for the year

       TBC Student/Family Membership: Offered for families who wish to donate at the start and

                                                                 continue to be engaged in fundraising throughout the year

This year the PTA is budgeting $25,000 towards students, teachers & staff, and school wide projects. Your contributions directly support these initiatives. See below for some of the ways Trailblazer Club funds are reinvested back into our school:  

$10,500 TOWARD STUDENT RESOURCES 

• -  Blazer Blasts and Student Store (student recognition)
• -  Library Publications used by all students
• -  Student Agendas (issued to all students grades 2-5)
• -  Purple Communication Folders (issued to all students grades K-5)
• -  Class Spirit T-shirts(free to all students to be used for spirit days, field trips, and other school activities) 

$8,500 TOWARD FACULTY RESOURCES

• -  Teacher Educational Enrichment Fund($125/teacher reimbursement for extra classroom needs)
• -  Teacher Appreciation Events and Gifts 
• -  Faculty & staff spiritwear for the entire THES team(security, admin, teachers, everyone!) 
• -  LAMP supplies & replacement costs(busted basketball in gym? the PTA has it covered!)  

$6,000 TOWARD SCHOOLWIDE PROJECTS

• -  STEM  Learning: LEGO Wall, DASH Robots & coding supplies, KEVA planks and K'nex building sets and more.  
• -  Storage shed for playground equipment

PROGRAMS & EVENTS

The PTA also puts on many events and programs that bring our community together and make Twin Hickory Elementary unique and beloved by our students and families. Notable events & programs include:
